Aussie minced lamb and spinach bake is a hearty dish featuring seasoned minced lamb baked with spinach and topped with a golden crust.
Ingredients

- 500g minced lamb
- 300g fresh spinach
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 cup grated cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté onion and garlic until translucent.
- Add minced lamb and cook until browned.
- Stir in grated carrot, spinach, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until spinach wilts.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish.
- Top with breadcrumbs and grated cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add chili flakes to the lamb mixture.
- You can use frozen spinach if fresh is unavailable.
- Serve with a side salad for a complete meal.
