Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add sliced beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Remove beef from skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic. Sauté until fragrant.
  5. Add bell peppers and stir-fry until tender, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Return beef to the skillet and add soy sauce, oyster sauce, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  7. Drizzle sesame oil over the mixture and cook for an additional minute.
  8. Serve the beef and pepper mixture over the cooked jasmine rice.
  9. Garnish with chopped green onions.
