- 1 cup beef broth

- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the beef chuck roast with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, sear the beef on all sides over medium-high heat.
- Place the seared beef in the crockpot.
- Add chopped onion, garlic, carrots, and potatoes around the beef.
- Pour beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the ingredients.
- Sprinkle thyme over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or until beef is tender.
- Shred the beef and mix with the vegetables before serving.
