- 250g macaroni
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 400g canned tomatoes
- 200g cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a large pot, boil water and cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until fragrant.
- Add beef mince to the skillet, browning it thoroughly. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and paprika.
- Stir in canned tomatoes and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
- Combine the cooked macaroni with the beef mixture, then fold in half of the grated cheese.
- Spread the filling into the pie crust and top with remaining cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
- Let the pie cool slightly before slicing and serving.

- You can substitute beef mince with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
- Add vegetables like bell peppers or mushrooms for extra flavor.
- For a spicy kick, include diced jalapeños in the filling.
