  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, brown sugar, and melted butter until well combined.
  4. Stir in eggs and vanilla extract until smooth.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in dark chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  8. Using a cookie scoop, form balls and roll them in powdered sugar.
  9. Place on a lined baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
  10. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
