- 1 pound sausage, casings removed
- 8 large eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 4 cups cubed bread
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet, cook the sausage over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Add the cubed bread and cooked sausage to the egg mixture. Stir to combine.
- Fold in the shredded cheese and green onions.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
