- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup diced onions
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat olive oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers, sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Pour the egg mixture into the skillet, tilting to spread evenly.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.
- Sprinkle cheese on one half of the omelette.
- Fold the omelette in half and cook for another minute until cheese melts.
- Slide onto a plate and serve immediately.
Notes
- For variations, add cooked meats or different vegetables.
- Serve with fresh herbs for added flavor.
- Use a spatula to gently lift the edges while cooking for even results.
