  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine melted butter and sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips.
  7. Drop tablespoons of dough onto lined baking sheets, spacing them evenly.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are set.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
