Description
Classic Caesar salad with homemade dressing and croutons.
Ingredients

- 1 head Romaine lettuce, chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 cup croutons
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 anchovy fillet, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, garlic, and anchovy.
- Whisk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a large bowl, toss the chopped Romaine lettuce with the dressing.
- Add croutons and grated Parmesan cheese. Toss again.
- Plate the salad and garnish with additional Parmesan, if desired.
Notes
- For added texture, use homemade croutons.
- Experiment with different types of greens.
- Adjust anchovy for flavor intensity.
