Ingredients

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, cinnamon, and salt over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a simmer.
- Add pecans and vanilla extract, stirring to coat.
- Continue cooking for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until the sauce thickens.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pour pecans onto the prepared baking sheet, spreading them in a single layer.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through until golden brown.
- Remove from oven and let cool completely before serving.
