Ingredients

Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and water over medium heat.
- Stir until sugar dissolves, then stop stirring and let it boil until it turns a deep amber color.
- Remove from heat and carefully add heavy cream, stirring constantly.
- Add butter and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
- Let the syrup cool before transferring it to a jar.
Notes

- Adjust the sugar for a sweeter or less sweet syrup.
