  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon active dry yeast
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, and melted butter.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and eggs to the flour mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Spread melted butter over the dough, then sprinkle garlic, mozzarella, Parmesan, and parsley evenly.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side to form a log.
  8. Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased muffin tin.
  9. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30 minutes.
  10. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  11. Remove from the oven and brush with additional melted butter before serving.
