Description

A rich and layered cheesy ravioli lasagna that combines the flavors of traditional lasagna with the convenience of store-bought ravioli.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz cheese ravioli
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread a layer of marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. Layer half of the ravioli over the sauce.
  5. Spread half of the ricotta mixture over the ravioli.
  6. Add a layer of mozzarella cheese.
  7. Repeat the layers with the remaining ravioli, ricotta mixture, and marinara sauce.
  8. Top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  10. Remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  11. Let it cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

  • You can use spinach or mushroom ravioli for a different flavor.
  • Add fresh basil for garnish before serving.
  • This dish can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
