A rich and decadent dessert combining cherry cheesecake and fudgy brownies.
Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup cherry pie filling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter with granulated sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until well incorporated.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth. Spread over brownie layer.
- Drop spoonfuls of cherry pie filling over the cream cheese layer.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top and swirl with a knife to combine layers slightly.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out with moist crumbs.
- Let cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
- Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting for cleaner edges.
- For a chocolate drizzle, melt 1/2 cup of chocolate chips and drizzle over the top before serving.
- Experiment with fresh cherries or other fruit fillings for variations.
