  • 1 cup all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix flour, salt, and cocoa powder.
  6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  7. In a bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
  9. Drop spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the brownie layer.
  10. Spread the remaining brownie batter on top.
  11. Top with cherry pie filling.
  12. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  13. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
