Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 large onions, finely sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup cashew nuts, blended into a paste
- 1/4 cup cooking oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 cup cream
- Salt to taste
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate chicken in yogurt, garlic, ginger, and salt for at least 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
- Add cumin seeds and stir until fragrant.
- Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
- Stir in coriander, turmeric, and garam masala.
- Add cashew paste and cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in cream and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Garnish with cilantro before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels to your preference.
- Serve with naan or rice for a complete meal.
- Allow the flavors to meld by letting the dish rest for a few minutes before serving.
