Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 large onions, finely sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 cup cashew nuts, blended into a paste
  • 1/4 cup cooking oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • Salt to taste
  • Cilantro for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate chicken in yogurt, garlic, ginger, and salt for at least 2 hours.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and sauté onions until golden brown.
  3. Add cumin seeds and stir until fragrant.
  4. Add marinated chicken and cook until browned.
  5. Stir in coriander, turmeric, and garam masala.
  6. Add cashew paste and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Pour in cream and simmer for 20 minutes.
  8. Garnish with cilantro before serving.
