- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Brown the chicken on both sides for about 5 minutes each.
- Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Pour in chicken broth and add rosemary.
- Bring to a simmer, then transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from oven and stir in heavy cream, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard.
- Let the sauce thicken for 5 minutes before serving.
