Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cups crushed tomatoes
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Brown chicken in the skillet for 5-7 minutes on each side.
  4. Remove chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook until translucent.
  6. Add minced garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
  7. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, and basil.
  8. Return chicken to the skillet, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
