Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup chocolate ganache

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Melt dark chocolate and butter in a double boiler. Stir until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and whisk in granulated sugar.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Stir in vanilla extract.
  6. Fold in flour and salt until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into a greased 8×8 inch baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cool completely.
  9. In a mixing bowl, whip heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  10. Cut brownies into cubes.
  11. Layer brownie cubes, whipped cream, and chocolate ganache in a trifle dish.
  12. Repeat layers until ingredients are used.
  13. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
