Rich and creamy chocolate fudge that melts in your mouth.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine sugar and cocoa powder.
- Add heavy cream and butter to the saucepan.
- Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil.
- Once boiling, stop stirring and let it boil for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and nuts.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 8-inch square pan.
- Let it cool at room temperature for at least 2 hours.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate cocoa powder.
- Experiment with different nuts or add a pinch of sea salt for contrast.
- Store fudge in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
