Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt.
- Add chilled butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water until dough forms.
- Roll out the dough and fit it into a pie pan.
- Prick the bottom with a fork and chill for 30 minutes.
- Bake crust for 20 minutes until golden brown.
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler and let cool slightly.
- In another bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, and salt.
- Gradually add melted chocolate and mix until smooth.
- In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
- Fold whipped cream into the chocolate mixture gently.
- Pour filling into the cooled crust and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled, garnished with chocolate shavings.
