Ingredients

- 8 ounces dark chocolate, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Cocoa powder for dusting
- Optional toppings: crushed nuts, sprinkles, or coconut flakes
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a saucepan over medium heat until it just begins to simmer.
- Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for 2 minutes to melt the chocolate.
- Add the butter to the chocolate mixture and stir until smooth and fully combined.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 2 hours or until firm.
- Using a melon baller or small scoop, portion out the ganache and roll into balls with your hands.
- Roll the truffles in cocoa powder or your choice of toppings to coat.
- Place the truffles on a parchment-lined tray and refrigerate until ready to serve.
