Ingredients

  • 2 cups cranberry juice
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 orange, sliced
  • 1/2 cup fresh cranberries
  • 1 cup bourbon (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, combine cranberry juice, orange juice, apple cider, and water.
  2. Add sugar, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg to the pot.
  3. Heat the mixture over medium heat until it reaches a simmer.
  4. Add orange slices and fresh cranberries to the pot.
  5. If desired, stir in bourbon and heat for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let it steep for 10 minutes.
  7. Strain the mixture into mugs and serve hot.

Notes

  • Adjust spices to your taste preference.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, omit the bourbon.
  • Garnish with additional orange slices or cranberries for presentation.
