- 1 cup cinnamon sugar (1/2 cup sugar + 2 tablespoons cinnamon)
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, salt, and baking powder.
- Add the dry ingredients to the cream cheese mixture and mix until just combined.
- Chill the mixture for 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
- Using a small scoop, form balls of the chilled cheesecake mixture.
- Fry the balls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and roll in cinnamon sugar immediately after frying.
