Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a mixer, cream the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and salt until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and eggs, mixing until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
- Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Notes
- For a crispier cookie, bake a minute longer.
- You can substitute half the semisweet chips with milk chocolate or dark chocolate.
