Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 200ml heavy cream
  • 50g grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced bacon and cook until crispy.
  3. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat.
  7. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and combined.
  8. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
