  • 200ml cream
  • 100g grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  4. Add minced garlic, and sauté for an additional minute.
  5. Add the beef mince, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned.
  6. Stir in the diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Reduce heat and add cream, mixing well.
  8. Combine the pasta with the beef mixture in the skillet, ensuring even coating.
  9. Transfer to a baking dish, top with grated cheese, and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is golden.
