- 300g beef mince
- 200g pasta (penne or rigatoni)
- 1 can (400g) diced tomatoes
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 200ml cream
- 100g grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until translucent.
- Add minced garlic, and sauté for an additional minute.
- Add the beef mince, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Let simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and add cream, mixing well.
- Combine the pasta with the beef mixture in the skillet, ensuring even coating.
- Transfer to a baking dish, top with grated cheese, and bake for 20 minutes or until the cheese is golden.

- You can add vegetables like bell peppers or spinach for added nutrition.
- For a spicy kick, include red pepper flakes.
