- 100g all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 200g breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Preheat the oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 180°C (350°F).
- Season the flour with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Dredge each chicken strip in the seasoned flour, shaking off excess.
- Dip the floured chicken in the beaten eggs, ensuring full coverage.
- Coat the chicken in breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- Fry the goujons in batches for 4-5 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.

- For a spicier version, add cayenne pepper to the flour mixture.
