Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Chopped green onions for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and black pepper.
  2. Place chicken thighs in the crock pot and pour the honey garlic mixture over them.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Once cooked, remove chicken and keep warm.
  5. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to create a slurry.
  6. Pour the cooking liquid into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  7. Add the cornstarch slurry and stir until thickened.
  8. Serve chicken with sauce drizzled on top and garnish with green onions.
