- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
- Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
- Add uncooked spaghetti to the crockpot, ensuring it’s submerged in the sauce.
- Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until spaghetti is al dente.
- Stir well, then top with mozzarella cheese and cover until melted.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

- For a spicy kick, add crushed red pepper flakes.
- Use whole wheat spaghetti for a healthier option.
