  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 can (15 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts at the bottom of the crockpot.
  2. Add diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, chicken broth, onion, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until chicken is cooked through.
  4. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks and stir to combine with the sauce.
  5. Add uncooked spaghetti to the crockpot, ensuring it’s submerged in the sauce.
  6. Cover and cook on high for an additional 30 minutes, or until spaghetti is al dente.
  7. Stir well, then top with mozzarella cheese and cover until melted.
  8. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
