- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 cup French onion soup
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- In a skillet, sauté sliced onions until caramelized, about 10-15 minutes.
- Transfer caramelized onions to the crockpot.
- Add beef broth, French onion soup, and Worcestershire sauce to the crockpot.
- Carefully place meatballs on top of the onion mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
