A flavorful crockpot dish combining pierogi and kielbasa, perfect for a hearty meal.
Ingredients

- 1 package of frozen pierogi (16 oz)
- 1 lb kielbasa, sliced
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Layer half of the frozen pierogi in the bottom of the crockpot.
- Add half of the kielbasa and half of the onion on top.
- Sprinkle half of the cheese over the layers.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining pierogi, kielbasa, onion, and cheese.
- In a bowl, mix chicken broth, sour cream, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
- Once done, stir gently and let it sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute kielbasa with sautéed mushrooms.
- Try adding sauerkraut for extra tanginess.
- Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
