Description

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of sourdough bread
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter.
  3. Crack eggs into the skillet. Cook to your preference (sunny-side up or over easy).
  4. Season eggs with salt and pepper.
  5. While eggs cook, toast the sourdough slices in the skillet until golden brown.
  6. Assemble the sandwich: Spread mayonnaise on one slice of toast.
  7. Add a slice of cheddar cheese, followed by the eggs, bacon, and another slice of cheddar.
  8. Top with the second slice of toast.
  9. Press down gently, slice in half diagonally, and serve hot.
