- 4 slices of brioche bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sliced strawberries
- 1/4 cup chocolate sauce
Instructions
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of brioche bread.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on the unbuttered side of two slices of brioche.
- Add shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the cream cheese layer.
- Layer sliced strawberries over the mozzarella.
- Top with the remaining slices of brioche, buttered side out.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with chocolate sauce before serving.
Notes
- Experiment with different fruits like bananas or raspberries.
- For a richer flavor, add a pinch of cinnamon to the cream cheese mixture.
- Serve with a side of whipped cream for dipping.
