  • 4 slices cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, sliced

  • Ketchup, to taste
  • Mayo, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Form the ground beef into four equal patties, making a slight indentation in the center.
  3. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the patties on the grill or skillet. Cook for 4-5 minutes on one side.
  5. Flip the patties and place a slice of cheese on each. Cook for another 4 minutes or until the cheese melts.
  6. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, ketchup, and mayo.
  8. Serve immediately.
