Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ground turkey
  • 1 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup of chopped parsley
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups of marinara sauce
  • 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix until well combined and form into meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes until cooked through.
  6. In a saucepan, heat marinara sauce over medium heat.
  7. Add cooked meatballs to the sauce and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Transfer meatballs and sauce to a baking dish, top with mozzarella cheese.
  9. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
