Description

A gourmet dinner idea featuring seared salmon with a lemon-dill sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season salmon fillets with salt and pepper.
  3. Place salmon skin-side down in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Remove salmon and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Add lemon juice, zest, and dill; cook for 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and simmer until thickened.
  9. Plate salmon and drizzle with sauce.

Notes

  • For a twist, add capers to the sauce.
  • Serve with asparagus or roasted potatoes.
  • Garnish with lemon slices and dill sprigs.
