- 2 lbs chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
- 1 teaspoon rosemary, dried
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with thyme, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the chicken in the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- Deglaze the skillet with chicken broth and lemon juice.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and transfer to the oven.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the chicken in the spices for a few hours.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or a fresh salad.
- Consider using a cast iron skillet for better heat retention.
