Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream the butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture.
- Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Roll small balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack.
- For the icing, whisk powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cookies.
- Top with red and green sprinkles.
