- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup eggnog
- 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in the vanilla extract and eggnog until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips and walnuts, if using.
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
- For a spiced variation, add cloves or ginger.
- Top with a dusting of powdered sugar for presentation.
- Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
