- 1/2 cup cornmeal
- 8 small corn tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cabbage
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup pico de gallo
- 1 lime, cut into wedges
- Cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a bowl, combine flour, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper.
- Dip each fish fillet in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat; fry fish until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Transfer fish to a baking sheet and finish cooking in the oven for 10 minutes.
- Warm corn tortillas in a dry skillet until pliable.
- Assemble tacos by placing fish on tortillas, adding cabbage, avocado, and pico de gallo.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with lime wedges.
