Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Marinate chicken strips in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Heat oil in a deep skillet to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and dredge in the seasoned flour.
- Fry chicken in batches until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels and keep warm in an oven.
- Serve immediately with your choice of dipping sauce.
