- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup chopped nuts (hazelnuts or almonds)
- 1 cup candied orange peel
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and spices.
- In a saucepan, heat honey and brown sugar until dissolved.
- Allow the honey mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in eggs.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
- Fold in nuts and candied orange peel.
- Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
- Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are firm.
- Cool completely before glazing.
- Mix powdered sugar with water to create a glaze and decorate cookies.
Notes
- For a spicier flavor, increase the amount of ginger and cinnamon.
