Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and spices.
  2. In a saucepan, heat honey and brown sugar until dissolved.
  3. Allow the honey mixture to cool slightly, then whisk in eggs.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until combined.
  5. Fold in nuts and candied orange peel.
  6. Chill the dough for at least 2 hours.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  8. Roll out the dough and cut into desired shapes.
  9. Place cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  10. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until edges are firm.
  11. Cool completely before glazing.
  12. Mix powdered sugar with water to create a glaze and decorate cookies.
