A delicious grilled cheese steak sandwich featuring tender steak and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 8 oz ribeye steak
- 2 slices of sourdough bread
- 2 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Season the ribeye steak with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the steak.
- Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium rare.
- Remove steak from skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice the steak thinly against the grain.
- Butter one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- Place one slice of bread butter-side down in the skillet.
- Add one slice of cheddar cheese, followed by the sliced steak, and top with the second slice of cheese.
- Cover with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, then flip and cook the other side until golden and cheese is melted.
Notes
- For variations, try different cheeses like provolone or gouda.
- Consider adding sautéed onions or peppers for extra flavor.
