Description

A festive Halloween Rice Krispie Cake, perfect for spooky celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) marshmallows
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Food coloring (orange and black)
  • Edible decorations (candy eyes, sprinkles)

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and mix in vanilla extract.
  4. Divide the mixture into two bowls. Color one with orange food coloring and the other with black.
  5. Add Rice Krispies to each bowl and mix until evenly coated.
  6. Press the orange mixture into a greased cake pan to form the base.
  7. Layer the black mixture on top of the orange layer, pressing down firmly.
  8. Allow to cool for 30 minutes before removing from the pan.
  9. Decorate with edible decorations as desired.

Notes

  • For a different flavor, consider adding peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture.
