Ingredients

- 200g sliced ham
- 150g shredded cheese (cheddar or Swiss)
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 1 egg (beaten, for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- Spread Dijon mustard evenly over the pastry.
- Layer the sliced ham evenly on top of the mustard.
- Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the ham.
- Roll the pastry tightly into a log.
- Slice the log into 1-inch thick pinwheels.
- Place the pinwheels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños to the filling.
- Experiment with different cheeses like mozzarella or gouda.
- Serve with a side of dipping sauce, such as ranch or honey mustard.
