Ingredients

  • 8 oz sliced ham
  • 8 oz sliced cheese (Gruyère or Swiss)
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, softened
  • Fresh herbs (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice each croissant in half horizontally.
  3. Spread Dijon mustard on the inside of each croissant.
  4. Layer sliced ham and cheese evenly on the bottom half of each croissant.
  5. Cover with the top half of the croissant.
  6. Spread softened butter on the outside of each croissant.
  7. Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until the croissants are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes before serving.
  10. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
