  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cups chopped potatoes

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Add the chopped onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in the carrots and celery; cook for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the diced tomatoes, beef broth, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Add the potatoes and continue to cook until tender, about 15 minutes.
  7. Stir in the frozen peas and heat through.
