Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the patties for 5-6 minutes on each side until browned.
  5. Remove patties and set aside. In the same skillet, add sliced onion and sauté until translucent.
  6. Add beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  7. Mix cornstarch and water, then add to the broth to thicken.
  8. Return patties to the skillet and coat with gravy. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
