Ingredients

- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
- 1/4 cup diced jalapeños
- 1 package of phyllo pastry (16 oz)
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, chives, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo pastry on a clean surface and brush lightly with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet of phyllo on top and repeat the buttering process.
- Cut the layered phyllo into squares, approximately 3×3 inches.
- Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of each square.
- Fold the corners of the phyllo squares over the filling to create a bundle, sealing the edges with a bit of melted butter.
- Place the bundles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Serve warm with a garnish of chives.
Notes
- You can substitute cream cheese with goat cheese for a tangy flavor.
- Experiment with different cheeses like feta or mozzarella.
- For a vegetarian option, omit bacon and add more vegetables.
